B. Braun Kenya is proud to introduce a space station MRI shield which allows the usage of Space infusions pumps in MRI examination rooms. The Space MRI-Station allows operation of 4 Space infusion pumps, (Perfusor Space or Infusomat Space pumps) during MRI scanning of patients.

When using the Space station MRI shield during MRI scanning, infusion pumps are protected from damage caused by high frequency radiation as it is developed to shield space pumps from the magnetic fields of the MRI Scanner. The station has an integrated navigation Assistant – Tesla that monitors and records the strength of the magnetic field, this allows a correct positioning of the space station MRI to the patient and MRI scanner.

Imaging with No Interruptions!

With the space station MRI shield, special treatments can be given during MRI examinations. The station enables interference free imaging and eliminates the use of long infusion lines hence reducing the workload to the caregiver allowing seamless workflows
